“Two possibilities exist: either we are alone in the Universe or we are not. Both are equally terrifying.” ― Arthur C. Clarke

-To obtain a mental picture of the distance to the nearest star, compared to the nearest planet, you must imagine a world in which the closest object to you is only five feet away — and there is nothing else to see until you have travelled a thousand miles. (unknown)

Arthur C. Clarke in Credo –
God is Alpha, who rewards good and punishes evil and judges us when we die.
God is Omega, the Creator of Everything …is “a much more interesting character and not so easily dismissed.”

“No intelligent person can contemplate the night sky without a sense of awe. The mind-boggling vista of exploding supernovae and hurtling galaxies does seem to require a certain amount of explaining.”
Credo – 1991 – A.C. Clarke

The god of the Bible says he is the Alpha and the Omega. The beginning and the end.

Our universe got here somehow. Was it God who created the big bang? Are there other universes? What is dark matter and dark energy? As one headline read, “Absence of evidence, or evidence of absence?” Do black holes suck galaxies in one end and spew them out the other into another dimension? creating new universes that exist within the dark energy and dark matter? Did god do this?

Did it just happen?

When our sun goes super nova, and if mankind doesn’t make it out of here; if we don’t reach the stars… will anyone know we were ever here?

Are we alone in all this?
Are they on their way here now, so they can eat us for lunch?

What is the point to it all? Who ever knows…. write it in the comments section.
